Only go there late at night and when already slightly drunk. I don't understand the bad reviews online. Sass Cafe is an institution and all of the locals go here. Although strictly speaking it's not a club, it's lively and full of people of all ages dancing on tables, chairs and any other available surface, great fun, full of atmosphere and the service is excellent.
On my second night there, the waiters greeted me like a long lost friend with a kiss on each cheek and ushered us towards a lovely table - and we weren't even big spenders! Go, relax, enjoy and be prepared to spend. It's Monte Carlo after all. We had a great night here. Great atmosphere, drinks and shisha! One of my favourite nights out in Monaco. Will be back. I was there with my friends.
Well to say the truth. I cant have diner with people smoking chicha next to me. It just doesn't suit the theme of that restaurant. My food was ok but not impressive. I've had salmon but nothing so special about it. Music was good like all restaurants in monaco. The mood was fine as well. Sass is a low key cafe in the middle of all the pomp and glory of Monte Carlo. It is very casual dressing and visited by "normal" looking people - not the plastic beauties that dominate the Monte Carlo landscape.
